Historical Spots in Ako(8)Misaki district(1)Syoufukuji TempleSoutousyu Fudarakusan Syoufukuji Temple was Inkyoji Templeof Syuganryuden Buddhist priest of Kagakuji Temple Kaisan when Naganao Asano came in Akoh for the first time. Then it was built for his mother and father's Bodai.
First,it was built in Kariya,on Genroku14 (1701) Ryousetsu Buddhist preist transferred present land lot as Ryousetsuan. It extends to nowadays on Houei3 (1706) Jigo as Syoufukuji Temple. In the temple,Goban which Yoshio Ohishi and Ryousetsu Buddhist priest used,parent's picture which Yoshio wrote and Gishi's letter and so on was preserved. (2)Iwatsuhime Shrine
This shrine which deifies Iwatsuhime Ohkami is only Engishiki Naisha (shrine which appear Jinmyocho in Heian era) and was deified in this land from long ago. At beginning it was deified Hachijoiwa. But there are minutes that Naganori Asano transferred in this land on Edo era,Tenwa 3 (1683). In this way,things that had been deified on big rocks, because in long ago,there were belief that god resides in moun- tains and huge rocks,this shrine is said that it was deified by Iwagami Shinko. |
