Sinden and Orikata District 


(1)Hiyoshi Shurine(Ako city Shinden)

Hiyoshi Shrine

 Naganao Asano,Syodaihan of Akohan Asanoke,took stones from
near Mt.Yamasaki to construct Akojo,buried a swamp by the soil
left,and opened about 100chobu-large(100ha) Shinden. And he
called here Shindenmura.
 And he built the Bunsha of Sanno Hiyoshi Shurine on Biwako,
Sakamoto,and saw it as Uzigami,contributed Ta3Han(30a).The Ema
in Oishi`s own hand wrriting is put.

(2)Kojoji-Temple(Ako city Shinden)

Kojoji Temple

 Because of being opened as Shindenmura by Naganao Asano,the
festival of "Takumisan" is grandly held in this temple in August every
year to praise its "Itoku" by all people of the region.
 In the temple,the wooden statue of three generations of Asanoke
are dedicated.(It is the temple that dose not have a chiet priest.)

(3)Josenji temple(Orikata,Ako city)


 It has been handed down that after opening Ako castle, Kansuke
Nakamura of Gishi lived Kyunotani near by Ako castle. And he was
friendly with the chief priest of this temple. So when he went to
Edo,he put away "Ihai" which made and written by him,and he asked
"Houkai" of after his death. The "Ihai"has been dedicated.
