(5)Oishi Kuranosuke ordered 300 odd retainersof Asano
Takuminokami to meet at Ako Castle.
They discussed siege,capitulation,vengeance and
self-immolation.
Oishi Kuranosuke decided on capitulation,and about 50
or so ageed with him.
(6)Oishi Kuranosuke delivered the officers of the Shogunate
to Ako Castle on April 19,1701.
Oishi Kuranosuke withdrew from the Simizu-mon
gate of Ako Castle.
(7)Oishi Kuranosuke moved Yamashina,Kyoto from Ako in June.
He sought venegeance upon Kira kozukenosuke go having
communicated with his comrades.
He visited chaya (the red-right district) in Gion and Shimabara,
Kyoto, many times to get back Kira and Uesugi's spy.
(8)Nakayama Yasube who was a masterless samurai
assisted Sugano Rokurozaemon in a fight and killed four
samurais in Takatanobaba,1693.
As a consequence, he became the son-in-law of the
Horibe Yahei family (Asano Takuminokami's retainer).
