(13)Otaka Gengo met his friend Takarai Kikaku,the
famous haiku-poet and the pupil of Matsuo Basho on the
Ryogoku Bridge.
They composed haiku poem,the seventeen-syllabled verse
with one other.
Takarai Kikaku guessed that there had been a raid on
Kira's mansion from the lower hemistich of Otaka Gengo.
(14)Oishi Kuranosuke, his son Chikara and 45
retainers raided Kira's mansion in December 14,1702.
(15)Simizu Ichigaku who was the page of Kira
Kozukenosuke used two swords and fought on
against with the Ako retainers.
Chikamatsu Kanroku fell in the pond.
(16)After 2 hours of the raid,Hazama Jujiro found out Kira
Kozukenosuke who was hiden in a charcoal house.
Oishi Kuranosuke finished with a the stab in Kira
Kozukenosuke's neck using his sword.
